      Obituary for Mr. Joseph Alvin Ray Brown Sr.
      Mr. Joseph Alvin Ray Brown, Sr.
      Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, February 6, 2021 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau, LA, for Mr. Joseph Alvin Ray Brown, Sr., 80, who entered eternal rest, Monday, February 1, 2021 at his residence in Grand Coteau, LA.
      Interment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Cemetery.
      Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carol Johnson Brown of Grand Coteau, LA; a son, James Jarrell Brown of Grand Coteau, LA; three daughters, Tammy Simien of Lithia Springs, GA, Sonya Thomas of Sunset, LA and Carolyn Ogletree (Gerard) of Douglasville, GA; two brothers, Ambrose Roy Brown of Jennings, LA and Larry Brown of Arnaudville, LA; a sister, Viola “T-Baby” Meullion of Grand Coteau, LA; eighteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
      Mr. Brown was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Brown, Sr. & Viola Key Brown; a son, Joseph Alvin Ray Brown, Jr.; three brothers, Edward Brown, Jr., Calvin Brown and Earl Brown; four sisters, Cywilla Walker, Rosalie Walker, Natalie Hardy and Norma Bobb.
      Visiting hour will be observed from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM Saturday, February 6, 2021 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
